Day 1:
Arrival in Diego Suarez
Arrive in Diego Suarez, a
picturesque city located at the end of one of the world's most beautiful bays,
where the legacy of pirates and sailors still lingers in the salty air. As you
explore, discover a vibrant tapestry of cultures, with locals wearing
traditional Masonjoany beauty masks and colorful pagnes blending
with the sight of fishermen in white djellabas. In the afternoon, relax on the
pristine sands of Ramena Beach, where turquoise waters meet powdery white
sands, offering the perfect welcome to Madagascar’s northern coast. Overnight

Day 2:
Excursion to the Emerald Sea (Diego Suarez – Ramena)
Set sail on a full-day excursion to
the stunning Emerald Sea. The crystal-clear waters here are famous for their
brilliant hues of blue and green, creating a mesmerizing aquatic landscape.
Snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, relax on deserted sandbanks, and indulge in
a freshly prepared seafood picnic on the beach. This secluded paradise,

Day 3: Diego
Suarez to Joffreville and Montagne d’Ambre
Travel to Joffreville, a charming,
colonial-era town nestled at the base of the lush Montagne d’Ambre (Amber
Mountain). Explore the Montagne d’Ambre National Park, where a cool, misty
microclimate nurtures a lush rainforest filled with cascading waterfalls,
crystal-clear lakes, and an exceptional array of flora and fauna. Spot unique
wildlife, including the world’s smallest chameleon, the Brookesia, and vibrant
birds that thrive in this emerald paradise. Feel the power of the park's
majestic waterfalls, which are considered the lifeblood of the region.

Day 4:
Joffreville to Ankarana via the Red Tsingy
Journey south from Joffreville to
the captivating Red Tsingy—a geological wonderland of deep red laterite
formations sculpted by wind and rain. These striking, alien-like pinnacles rise
dramatically from the forest floor, creating a landscape that seems almost
otherworldly. Continue to Lake Anivorano, home to sacred crocodiles believed by
locals to be the reincarnated ancestors of the Antakarana people. Learn about
the myths and legends that make this region so culturally rich. Arrive in Ankarana
in the late afternoon and check into Ankarana Lodge, nestled on the edge of the
park.

Day 5:
Discover Ankarana National Park
Spend a day exploring Ankarana
National Park, a rugged landscape shaped millions of years ago under the sea.
Here, discover a labyrinth of caves, underground rivers, and limestone “tsingy”
formations—sharp, needle-like pinnacles that rise dramatically from the forest
canopy. Navigate through this maze-like terrain to uncover hidden caves that
house royal tombs, and spot the park’s diverse wildlife, including 11 species
of lemurs, 92 bird species, and rare reptiles. This is a day for adventurers
and nature enthusiasts alike, exploring one of Madagascar's most unique
geological sites. Overnight at Relais Ankarana .
Day 6:
Ankarana to Ambanja
Depart Ankarana after breakfast and
journey through lush landscapes dotted with cacao plantations en route to
Ambanja. As you arrive in this fertile region, visit a local plantation to
learn about the cultivation of cocoa and vanilla, two of Madagascar’s most
prized exports. Engage with local farmers and experience the aromatic scents of
these crops firsthand. Overnight at Palma Nova Hotel, where the fragrant scent
of ylang-ylang and vanilla fills the air.

Day 7:
Ambanja to Nosy Be
Travel to the port village of Ankify
and board a boat to Nosy Be, known as the "Perfumed Island" for its
abundant ylang-ylang trees and spices. Upon arrival, explore Hell-Ville, the
vibrant capital of Nosy Be, with its bustling market, colonial architecture,
and colorful streets. Visit Lemuria Land, a private reserve showcasing the
island’s unique flora and fauna, and later, head to Mont Passot, the island's
highest point, to witness a breathtaking sunset with panoramic views over the
surrounding archipelago. Overnight at Aviavy Hotel.

Day 8:
Excursion to Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely
Embark on a boat excursion to Nosy
Komba, known as "Lemur Island," where you can interact with friendly
black lemurs in their natural habitat. Continue to Nosy Tanikely, a marine reserve

Day 9:
Explore Nosy Iranja
Set out on a speedboat to Nosy
Iranja, an island jewel famed for its powdery white sandbars connecting two
islets at low tide. Relax on the beach, snorkel in the clear waters, or explore
the small fishing village to experience the traditional Malagasy lifestyle.
Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of coconut palms before returning to Nosy
Be. Overnight at Aviavy Hotel.

Day 10:
Departure from Nosy Be
